Join other United Women in Faith members in the Western North Carolina Conference on May 8th for a virtual roundtable discussion of some of the ways racism impacts lives.

Using the Faith Talks formats, there will be three speakers who will share their experiences concerning racism and how it has impacted their lives:
- Conference President Joanie Strohm will serve as the moderator. The speakers will be Kathy FitzJeffries, Brenda Steadman, and Molly Welch.
- Kathy FitzJeffries is a member of the Southeastern Jurisdiction Charter for Racial Justice Leadership Team. Kathy will share her experiences as a white woman married to a black man.
- Brenda Steadman is a member of the Conference Committee on Nominations. Brenda will speak about her experiences as a black woman.
- Molly Welch is the Conference Mission Coordinator for Membership Nurture and Outreach. Molly will speak about her experiences as a white woman.
- Joanie, Brenda, and Molly serve on the Conference Justice Today Committee, which includes the Charter for Racial Justice.
