Mildred Wheless Gibson
We are sad to report the death of Mildred Gibson on February 15, 2021. Join us in prayers for her family, and in celebration of her life and service.
Mildred Gibson served as Conference President of Western North Carolina Conference United Methodist Women 1994-1995. She also served as Conference Vice President, and Albemarle District President. Mildred provided leadership in many ways in her local church, district, and in the Western North Carolina Conference, including as Albemarle District Lay Leader, as a delegate to General and Jurisdictional Conferences, as a Trustee of Pfeiffer University, and as a board member of the General Board of Global Ministries.
A $100 Gift in Memory through Mission Giving will be made in her memory by Western North Carolina Conference United Methodist Women.
